A penalization will also be possible for contents difficult to understand. 1.1 - Uncertainty question [Score 3/31] What is the support of a fuzzy set? 1.2 - Fuzzy Control [Score 15/31] We would like to design a system able to control a robot to avoid an obstacle. The robot has three sensors in front, each detecting the distance to an obstacle in its range (up to 3 m). The robot should avoid the obstacle by following its contour and leaving it when there is free room in front, in the direction it was following when it had encountered the obstacle. Let’s take that the robot has a compass ( It. bussola) and that the orientation w.r.t. North is recorded when facing the obstacle in the variable DIRstart. This system is activated only after an obstacle is detected. Please, select input and output variables of the system, define the corresponding fuzzy sets and how to implement logical operators and defuzzification method, write at least five rules that implement the fuzzy system.
