TECHNOLOGIES FOR MOTOR BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS AND VIRTUAL MODELLING June 25, 2020 Written Test. Max points 165 (equivalent to 33/30). Min points 90/165 (equivalent to 18/30). Duration 90 minutes QUESTION 1 [15/165] Write the equations of the two mathematical models that allow to build a motor unit action potential train starting from a MUAP. If you need, in order to write equations easily, you can use a sheet of paper and write manually with a clear handwriting. Take a picture of the sketch sheet and upload it here (pdf or image). Please draw clean lines on a clean sheet and do not exaggerate with the size. If you add writing, write clearly with an appropriate size and nice handwriting. QUESTION 2 [10/165] G, in picture, is the Gauge factor. What are R, l and epsilon. What are their measurement units? QUESTION 3 [20/165] A neurological patient undergoes a full -body motion analysis. Since the patient is quite tall, she is not always visible (distal markers) to one camera (of a pair) of the motion capture system (based on two cameras and passive markers). You see that on the camera, which is missing the measurement, there is a lens with 6 mm foca l length. In order to solve this problem, you are provided with other two possible option: 4 mm and 8 mm. What is your choice? Why? Provide a short rationale for your choice. State also if your choice improves or deteriorate the quality of the data and why. QUESTION 4 [5/165] IMU mounted magnetometers measure: • Gravity acceleration vector via Hall principle • Direction (inclination and declination) and intensity of the local Earth magnetic field • Solar magnetic field via Hall effect • Electrical atmospheric fields by Hall effect • Inclination and declination of gravity acceleration vector via Coriolis acceleration QUESTION 5…
