Introduction The following is a collection of questions from the past exams of Data Mining and Text Mining Course at Politecnico di Milano, taught by prof. Pier Luca Lanzi. While preparing the exam, my colleagues and I started trying to answer the “theoretical” questions from past years, since we were not given any solution. This exercise is really helpful: it lets you understand if you really master the topics of the courses. What you will read here must not be taken as an absolute truth: they were not reviewed by the lecturer, they are not official material of the course and we do not ensure they are 100% correct and complete. The aim of this document is just to give a further support during your study: it is a quite tough course, thus the help is never enough.
