Course of ADVANCED ENERGY SYSTEMS Sitting on 15 January 2026 Time allowed: 1 hour and 30 minutes Instructions for completing the exam paper: 1) Clearly indicate your name on all sheets you intend to submit. 2) Answer briefly but clearly, addressing only the questions asked. Calculations and explanations – even if correct in themselves – that do not answer the questions will not be considered for grading. 3) The score for each exercise refers to fully completed exercises with exact numerical results. Correct numerical results without the corresponding explanations will not be considered. 4) Talking with classmates and/or copying, or using computers, tablets, or mobile phones, will result in the immediate invalidation of the exam. 5) The exam grade is the sum of the scores obtained in the individual exercises plus a bonus (up to 4 points) awarded based on: the degree of completion of at least one exercise, readability of hand- writing, organization of the solution text, and the quality of the accompanying explanations. The final score will be normalized based on the average results. 6) The minimum score for admission to the oral exam is 16/30. A score from 9 to 15 results in the outcome “postponed.” A score less than or equal to 8 results in “rejected.” A “rejected” result pre- vents the student from registering for subsequent exam sittings in the same session.
