Text Brief 2 – 2022 July 13th: Netflix starts playing games Read the article “ Amid losses, Netflix bets on a bold strategy around video games” (The Washington Post , April 22nd 2022). By writing a homogeneous essay ( “slide style ” should preferably be avoided), and relying on the relevant content from the BIE course, discuss the economic rationale behind this new commercial strategy by Netflix and express your view on its odds of success. Timing, validity and restrictions Before 23:50 of July 15 th 2022: Upload the brief on the WeBeep site. Grades will be published with the 2° call exam results. A positive brief grade will be kept valid for the whole Academic Year (up to the end of February 2023). However if the student uploads a second brief, the former brief grade will be deleted. Template File format: Only Word documents are accepted . The documents should not be longer than 600 words. Note: no questions/emails from students are allowed during the 2-days off-line brief time frame.
