Airplane project description The contract requires the Design, Development and Production of a specific Airplane Variant and the delivery of 4 Test Vehicle (TV) and 5 Pilot Production products (PP). The Project Organization is based on six customer led IPTs: Programme Management (PM) System Engineering (SE) Basic Vehicle Hull Guiding system Missionization Control cabin Supportability Service cabin Test and Evaluation Plans Hydraulic systems Fixed structure Electrical systems Door Power systems Upper panel Basic Structure Rear Assy
Controlling: Airplane project description • The project work refers to the Control Cabin including Design and Development and Manufacturing phases. • The IPT is composed by IPT Leader (BROWN J) and 5 CAMs responsible for specific Control Accounts: • Bianchi R. (Door/Staircase Engineering) • Jack K. (Production Engineering /Production) • Rossi A. (Upper Panel Engineering) • Union J. (Basic Structure/Rear Assy Engineering) • Verdi C. (Fixed Structure Engineering) • The Control Cabin is required during the 1st stage to allow the joint with the Main Cabin Structure. That makes it critical to the beginning of Final Assembly.
Second task: change request A commercial Direct Change is coming from the Customer (attachment 8): it is required that Integrated Project Team evaluates together the impact of this modification both from cost and schedule side on hovercraft production. Moreover, it is required to verify the consistency of the development of the modification with the Final Assembly milestones and to eventually propose a minimum of 2 alternative mitigation solutions. A top level schedule and budget has to be produced showing the development and production of the modified handrail and the expected availability date (Procurement Specification, Supplier Development Phase, Critical Design Review and Production). Prepare a report in the format of a powerpoint presentation The report must provide: - A clear description of the evaluation of the change request - A critical evaluation whether to accept or not the change request and how you would address the impacts of the change request
