The business world Since the industrial revolution, technology, such as mechanical technology, has influenced the business world and has been used in the physical transformation process of raw materials. Production has shifted from the craft to the industrial world . since the 1960s, IT started to be applied to business in fact IT is a relatively new technology. What are the main differences between a craftsman and those who work for a company? A craftsman is an individual who manages his own business by working alone or with a few people who work together. the craftsman imagines the product to be made and once ready sells it. in the 1960s, some craftsmen had a shop with back offices and front offices. in the back office, the product was designed and manufactured. Once it was built, it was ready to be sold in the front office. When technology, like mechanical technology, was introduced in many companies, there was a great revolution in the concept of the production chain.
