01. Transfer Lines exercises 1 E XERCISE 1 A company organized the production of their goods with the typical layout of the transfer line . The follow ing coefficients were estimated : - Line Availability = 0,9 5 ( due to failures, p reventive maintenance is planned when the line is not required by production ) - Scrap Rate = 0, 0 4 - The line realizes one type of product, P1. The annual demand is 30000 pieces/year . - The line is composed of 3 stations (M1, M2, and M3) The time required to setup betwe en each production campa ign is 2 hours . The products are always produced in quantities of 6000 pieces each, independently of annual demand. 7 operations are required, in order to realize the product P1. They are reported in the following table .
