Synthetic program: The course aims to provide the skills needed for the design, analysis and testing of aeroservoelastic systems. These skills are essential for those who want to approach the design of modern, energy-efficient aircraft, designed to be lighter and therefore more flexible. The vision of the aircraft as an integrated and multidisciplinary system allows the student to understand the importance of a good multidisciplinary design, capable of exploiting the synergies between the various subsystems, and avoiding the emergence of adverse interactions that can significantly limit the performance of aircraft. The course discusses the typical problems of stability and response of fixed and rotating wing and hybrid configurations.
