Synthetic program: Il corso presenta i concetti fondamentali alla base dell'aerodinamica dei veicoli da trasporto che, nonostante l'ampia gamma di applicazioni, è comunemente caratterizzata dalla sua tridimensionalità e dalla presenza di turbolenza, regioni di flusso separato e forti scie. Lo studente sarà in grado di quantificare i carichi aerodinamici sul veicolo e acquisirà le conoscenze necessarie sui meccanismi fisici che caratterizzano i flussi separati, in modo da permettere una progettazione aerodinamica ottimizzata.
