The first one refers to a Matlab or FreeFem exercise complemented by co mments relating the results with the theoretical expectations. The second one consists in theor etical questions on a selected argument and it is given after the turning off of the computer. Each stud ent decides when switching off the computer; • For the exercises with Matlab/FreeFem, please report the re quested outputs and all the modi- fied/added parts of the code; • The total amount of time is 1 hour and 45 minutes; • The small calculators, tablets, mobile phones, other digit al devices, and cases must be put in the book bags; the latter, together with the jackets, must be pla ced on the side of the classroom. Devices (even switched off) found at the workstation will lead to the c ancellation of the exam; • All the steps in order to open Matlab or Freefem in the Virtual De sktop environment are at the expense of the student. No assistance will be provided for th is; • Only what is written on the given papers will be marked. The te acher will provide all the needed papers, both fair and draft copies. No personal (even draft) papers will be allowed; • It will not be allowed to come only to see the exam. The student should demonstrate to have come with the aim of doing the exam. If this is the case, he/she can r etire or be not sufficient. Otherwise, he/she must miss the following exam date. This will be at disc retion of the teacher; • For the delivering, please stop writing and stand up when the time is off.…
