This kind of office layout is a new style that involves a shared working environment through different companies. Therefore we decided that this building, by having two public spaces which are a restaurant on the last floor including a terrace and a small supermarket in the underground floor, reaches the requirements of a mixed-use building. It is possible to observe sensitive changes in the annual total energy consumption for heating and cooling while rotating the building.The best orientation for the building is discovered to be around 180 degrees from North as we can see from the graph on the right. From an overall analysis of our building we can deduce that the best orientation for our building is 140°from North (anti-clockwise), using the reduction of energy consumption as primary influencing factor but also taking into account nature, noise and people fluxes relative to our context.
