Allowed study materials
- personal notes, outlines and exercises that you created or are legally allowed to share;
- previous exams, when sharing them is lawful;
- original solutions or solutions that may be published with permission;
- readable, malware-free files classified under the correct course.
Do not upload
- books, commercial course notes or protected content copied without permission;
- unnecessary personal data, signatures, student ID numbers, email addresses or confidential information;
- study material obtained by breaching computer systems or exam rules;
- spam, disguised advertising, misleading files or intentional duplicates.
Ratings
Use a positive rating when the material is relevant, readable and useful; use a negative rating for incorrect, incomplete or misleading content. Do not vote to favour friends or penalise other contributors.
Credits and downloads
Online viewing remains available under the site's normal rules. One genuine approved contribution gives 1 credit to the verified account that uploaded it. Downloading a new document uses 1 credit; the same document can be downloaded again free for 7 days, with a maximum of 5 new documents in any 24-hour period. Ten distinct qualifying study-activity days, each with at least 5 minutes of real foreground study activity and one interaction, accumulated within 30 days, may also award 1 credit. Credits are not money, are not transferable and cannot be earned through spam, duplicates, automation or artificial activity.
The downloadable copy may contain a pseudonymous watermark when the Add download watermark control is enabled for that material. The moderation decision is also applied to exams and does not depend on a generic classification of a document as "official".
Reports and removals
Anyone who believes that content infringes rights or contains personal data can use the Contact page. Substantiated requests are reviewed as a priority, and material may be suspended while it is being checked.
