Synthetic program: si discutono le potenzialità e le problematiche tecniche ed economiche connesse all'impiego delle varie tecnologie di produzione di potenza elettrica da fonti rinnovabili: (i) energia eolica: leggi di funzionamento, tipologie di macchine, regolazione, criteri di dimensionamento di un impianto, eolico off-shore; (ii) energia geotermica: tipologie di sorgenti geotermiche sfruttabili, aspetti progettuali e problematiche tecniche; (iii) da biomasse: impianti di potenza con caldaie a griglia, impianti di trattamento fumi; (iv) energia solare fotovoltaica: tipologie di celle e caratteristiche di un impianto, fotovoltaico a concentrazione, evoluzioni della tecnologia; (v) energia solare termodinamica: tipologie di collettori, fluidi di lavoro e serbatoi di accumulo, logiche di gestione di un impianto; (vi) energia idroelettrica: classificazione delle macchine, mini-idroelettrico; (vii) energia dal mare: tecnologie disponibili, problematiche tecniche ancora da risolvere.
