Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence -24/01/2023 Surnamne Name Personal ID Signature Part 1 Note: Motivations of choices will substantially contribute to the final score of these exercises by 0 to 3 points each exercise. No reasonable motivation, no points. Please, consider that a motivation is different from a description. 1.1-Fuzzy Theory [Score 4/32] How the AND operator can be implemented in fuzzy logic? Please give motivations to select one of the two main implementations. What is the AGGREGATION operator for? How can it be implemented? Please give motivations to select one of the two main implementations. 1.2-Fuzzy Control Systems [Score 14/321 A pesticide can be sprayed on a field in different quantities within a range between a minium to be effective, and a maximum (to be dangerous). We would like to design a system able to control the amount of pesticide to be sprayed on a field (liters/m2), given the amount of infesting spider mites detected from analysis of images taken by a drone, and the cost of the pesticide.A drone is spraying the pesticide and the system knows where the pests are. Please, select input and output variables of the system, define the corresponding fuzzy sets and how to implement logical operators and defuzzification method, write at least five rules that implement the fuzzy system. Please, remember to motivate your choices. How could we modify the simple control system above defined to consider that if the pests are detected too late (so they are too many), the plants cannot be recovered, and that if the infection is detected then it is important to prevent its spreading? A simple description is sufficient. 1.3. Fuzzy Decision Systems [Score 7/32 We would like to design a system able to decide whether to change the product to be planted…
